Just after 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Tanker 24 was dispatched to assist York County Co. 67 (Monaghan Twp) for a house fire on Bishop Rd. Tanker 24 responded while a crew remained in station to cover Engine 24. While enroute, a working fire was confirmed and the 2nd alarm was requested. Engine 24 responded as part of this assignment.

Upon arrival crews from Engine and Tanker 24, along with other companies, set up the dump site to supply water to the scene. Engine 24 supplied water from the dump site while Tanker 24 participated in the shuttle with the other tankers. Once the fire was brought under control, Engine 24 was released while the Tanker remained on scene to provide water to help extinguish any remaining hot spots.
