Over the past few days, Company 24 has responded to a multitude of car fires.

The first call was an early morning car fire in Lewisberry Borough on March 31 to assist the Lewisberry Community Fire Company (YC Co. 29). Tanker 24 responded with two personnel and supplied Engine 29.

The second call was in the afternoon of the same day, to assist the Fairview Township Fire Department (YC Co. 68) for a truck on fire in a hay field. Tanker 24 responded with three personnel and staged nearby the scene. The pick-up was quite a distance off the road and brush trucks were needed to be used to extinguish the fire.

The third call was for a truck fire in a field also in Fairview Township on April 3rd. Both Engine 24 and Tanker 24 responded with a total of six personnel. Engine 24 arrived on scene and proceeded to extinguish the truck fire, while Tanker 24 set up to supply the Engine.
